I want to learn advanced website designing at Harvard University but i would need $15000.What to do?

I am an Indian student and cannot afford such expense . The course is of two months duration thus i would need atleast about $7000 per month . I can give private tuitions to students upto 12th standard ? Is it easy to find students interested in taking tuitions in areas near to Harvard University ? How can i find search such students once i reach the University ? Roughly what is the fees charged by the tutors per hour in that area ? Are there some jobs available for the summer school students of foreign origin on the University campus also ? If yes then what kind of jobs are they and how much do they pay ?

I'm a student at Harvard right now, and I've gone through the application process, so I can help you out a little bit.

If all you want to do is to take a summer school website class, I would not recommend coming to Harvard. Harvard will not teach you website design better than any other college, and it if you just want to put the Harvard name on your resume, a summer school class won't help.

However, if you want to attend the university itself, as a full-time student, then you can apply, and you have a very large chance of receiving financial aid, as many international students here do. However, it is very difficult to get in, so that might be the hardest part.

If you are looking for jobs - there are many jobs at Harvard, and if you are a Harvard student, you can search on the job listings at www.seo.harvard.edu. Tutors are paid between $12-35, depending on who is paying you and how much experience you have. During the summer, you can always take a full-time job at one of the businesses around Harvard Square. You'll have to work long, hard shifts though. Generally, most jobs in the square pay around $9 an hour.

The advantage of taking a salaried job is that the income flow is constant. Tutoring pays more, but it is hard to secure students.

Good luck!
Reply:Dude, forget Harvard. Look for public universities. they are cheaper, and provide much quality skill and education.

If you are planning to come to US by student visa and again study in a private college like Harvard, you will regret it. Tution for such students are extremely high. Also, no financial aids. Very difficult to get scholarship.

Think twice.
