Which university is better: oxford, cambridge, harvard, or university of tokyo???

please, help me out, i think is better the university of tokyo, but in the rankings, oxford, cambridge and harvard are in the first positions, please help me!!!


But serious answers, not feelings involved please!!

Universitry of Hull beats all of those.
Reply:The best university is the one that fits you best. Rankings are done using some mythical general student. They also vary according to who does the rankings.





So the answer to your question is basically, since you are the only one that really know what fits you best, only something you can decide - others really can't do it for you.





Rather trite, and perhaps unhelpful, but IMHO it is telling it like it is.

Reply:Most university rankings out there are done by Westerners, so Asian universities are way underrepresented and possibly ranked lower than they should be. Yet Oxford, Cambridge, and Harvard have so much history and prestige that they tend to attract top scholars and large donations, which means better resources, so I wouldn't be surprised if those three were better than the University of Tokyo.
Reply:cambridge and oxford are good if you're a brainbox who gets straight A's and wants to do something medical....
Reply:I don't think Harvard is that good really is it? What do you want to study? MIT is very good - for the super brainy. Oxbridge are both great too.
