Could any kind soul please tell me how I can do all that?PLEASE!...

THNX A MILLION!

Can anyone tell me how I can go to Harvard University,in my situation?
Hi Zet, since you are taking your O's this year, concentrate to ace it first, then you may be on your way to Harvard, or whatever ivy league university you want.

There are thousands of top-of-the-cream candidates that will die for an entry into Harvard. Even earning straigth A's in your O %26amp; A levels will not automatically gain you an entry. Well there's still life if you did not make it to Harvard, so long as you do well in your O's.

Good luck. http://www.admissions.college.harvard.ed...

Reply:You're going to have to take your A Levels first.

Do well in your O Levels %26amp; Get into a good JC (RJ, HC, TJ, NJ, VJ, AC). I know there are sufficient resources at these JCs to help you plan your tertiary studies in the U.S., especially since you are considering ivy league universities like Harvard.

You will need to have a good CCA record %26amp; fantastic scores on the SATS (SAT Reasoning Test %26amp; 3 SAT Subject Tests) (go to: www.collegeboard.com).

Harvard University conducts talks at RJ and AC just about every year for potential undergraduate students to learn more about Harvard. You can also e-mail SAMA(Singapore and Malaysia Association) at Harvard for more information about applying to Harvard as a Singaporean Applicant.(go to: http://www.hcs.harvard.edu/~sama/)

Do think about scholarships (PSC, GIC etc) as the cost of going to Harvard is very expensive- most Singaporeans won't be able to pay for it without some form of scholarship or financial aid.

To end off, don't pin all your hopes on just one university. Apply to a few good universities and hope for the best. Don't ignore local universities, for they too will provide you with a good education.

Good luck!
Reply:The best thing to do now is to finish your 'O's, get into a JC with a good arts programme and apply as you are doing your 'A's. You should go to the school's website and get in touch of one of their academic advisors. If you aren't even able to figure that out, you're probably not ready to go overseas for an education. Your best hope of getting in is with good 'A' Level and SAT results and the ability to write an impressive application essay.
