When I call Harvard University to ask questions they sound like they have short tempers?

They sound like they become easily irritated and are a little aggressive. Why?

It is due to big egos. Also in their defense sometimes very smart people are annoyed by stupid questions.
Reply:If you are a sensitive sort of person and tend to tune into peoples' moods, then you are probably noticing that people give off these irritable vibes wherever you go these days.

Try to remember that it's nothing about you personally that is eliciting this reaction from the grumps on the other end of the phone line. It is a sign of the times, this ill-tempered, somewhat aggressive tone people seem to emit.

Just a little tip: When you call places from now on, if at all possible, call on a Friday and never, ever call on a Monday (or a Tuesday, either, for that matter).
Reply:To test your confidence when communicating I suppose...Or it's just been like any other day dealing with tons of students since it's one of the top Universities.
