What kind of grades do you need to get into Harvard University?

You need a perfect 4.0, then you need just a lot of luck.

There are tons of people who get turned down by Harvard who have perfect grades. You are better off having a 3.85 GPA and being a minority who is the first person in your family to go to college, or has overcome adversity (like a disability or poverty or something), than you are as a white person with a middle-class background %26amp; a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Good luck, that is one of the toughest schools in the country to get in to.

Straight A's helps, but it's certainly not a guarantee. Harvard turns down hundreds of students with straight A's and perfect SAT scores every year. Even with that, your chances are about 8% of getting in. So unless you have something unique about you (major celebrity, published a novel, did original scientific research, etc), you've got about the same shot as everyone else applying. Apply to a few other schools as well.
Reply:Straight A's in all Honors and AP classes.

Its not all about grades, you need a great SAT/ACT score and some extracurricular activities
